life is strange. and wonderful. and sometimes hard.
so happy at times that it feels as if you are bursting apart at the seams. trying to take it all in. celebrating triumphs. cementing relationships. savoring. embracing.
and at other times so depressing and sad that it feels as if you can't possibly go on. nothing will ever get better. missed opportunities. words spoken in haste. regret. fear. grief.
then growth again. and satisfaction. experiencing the best that the universe has to offer. feelings of vitality and verve.
followed again by a period of stagnation. of halted progress. a stumbling struggle. then a picking-back-up.
yes, life is strange. and wonderful. and sometimes hard.
and unpredictable. even when you try to control it. try to keep the safe status quo.
the opposite behavior may be rewarding. venturing out, taking risks. attacking your hurdles head-on. but lack of a comfort zone can be disconcerting as well.
life can bewilder and frustrate, atone and captivate.
choices you make, decisions you affirm. how difficult it all can be.
life is strange. and wonderful. and sometimes hard.
do you secretly wish to show the world what you've got? do you want to write, to heal, to speak, to recover, to create? to explore, to sing, to dance, to shake things up?
no more excuses. the beginning of a new year is upon us. time to go after it, time to do it. every available working hour you can spare . . . CHASE YOUR DREAM.
bad stuff = do-overs. mediocre stuff = learn-from-its. good stuff = successes. put yourself out there. make your vision a reality.
sounds challenging, maybe even impossible. but this is your moment. your chance to prove to yourself that you can do or be anything you desire. to take responsibility for the existence you've imagined.
